I tried to find some "Trojan:Ransomware" Removal programs & was unable to get any results. I have a "Trojan:Ransomware" infection !!!. I then downloaded Sophos Virus Removal Tool.(128MBs). I scanned with MBAM & it found some PUP infections that I promptly eliminated. I went to Safe Mode & scanned with Avast, nothing found. ""The Drive Where Windows is Located is LOCKED. I used the ISO image & started a repair.Īll went well till I got to the execute function of the repair process. I tried to use the "repair" feature of the new Win8. Glitches started with IE11, some files were misbehaving, etc. It took me awhile to get the message that something was going on that shouldn't have. The restore seemed to work but it actually did not restore correctly. My computer started acting strange & I went to System Restore to reset it.
